America's toughest Sheriff -Arizona's Joe Arpaio- is now going toe-to-toe with the misguided Obama Administration regarding his dogged determination to enforce the law... and in spite of significant pressure and legal roadblocks eminating from the Boy Wonder and crew.
Of course, racially-obsessed AG Eric Holder was already investigating Arpaio re. "racial profiling"- I guess the good Sheriff is expected to be equally on the lookout for Ukrainian immigrants down there in the Arizona desert- just to be fair about it.
But Sheriff Joe said Tuesday he plans to continue his controversial enforcement activities. “It’s all politics,” Arpaio told Arizona's East Valley Tribune. He also said he'll still be able to still conduct the crime sweeps under state human smuggling laws and an obscure federal law that allows local police to arrest illegal immigrants.
“Now I’m not under their control,” Arpaio said. “Nothing changes; that’s the irony of all of this.”
When asked why a recent federal audit of his operations wasn't released, the Sheriff said it was due to the fact that "we came out perfect"- and therefore not useful to the Obama Adminstration's efforts against him.
The principled and defiant Arpaio then stated that he'll soon conduct an operation “with a new twist.”...

Love that Sheriff.... enforcing the law, and fighting to do it... who woulda thunk it in the United States of America. Guess enforcing the law is like against the law to J. Napolitano!
Since Sheriff Joe started arresting criminals including illegal immigrants, crime is down in nearly every category in Maricopa County. examples include alcohol related auto fatalities, operating without insurance, without license, killing police officers, rape of children. And, for the first time in many years scores are UP for standardized HS achievement tests, Mayor Gordon and his "chief" and the ex-chief of Mesa Police and Janet Napolitano want credit for this, but the fact is among the illegals coming here to work and conducting themselves appropriately, there is a group of hard core gangsters.
