Giuliani Slams Obama's 9/11 Trials in NYC

Former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani blasted the Obama administration on for its misguided, even bewildering decision to try five Sept. 11 suspects in New York... saying that such a trial would only encourage terrorists to target the city once again.

I think this is a very dangerous decision, and an irresponsible one. And one that is absolutely unnecessary. Meaning, if Khalid Sheikh Mohammed couldn't be tried anywhere else but in New York, then of course New York would handle it and do it,” he said.

“New York is already a target for terrorists – we announce that every day and talk about it every day. To add something unnecessary to that makes no sense, and the president has made, I believe, an irresponsible decision.”

The former NYC mayor and hero of 9/11 also had some thoughts on the Boy Wonder's covering-up the Islamist terrorism behind the recent Ft. Hood Massacre:

“And I hoped and prayed from that day (9/11)-on it would be the last Islamic terrorist attack in our history. And it was not the last, because a week ago we had another Islamic terrorist attack on our soil,” said Giuliani, referring to the shooting spree at Ford Hood, Texas, that left 13 people dead. Nidal Malik Hasan, the Army psychiatrist charged in the attack, reportedly shouted “Allahu akbar!” (Arabic for “God is great!”) as he started shooting.

Why this administration has trouble figuring that out when the man yelled out 'Allahu akbar' when he was murdering people – as a former prosecutor I find frighteningly incompetent,” Giuliani said.

When offered a scenario with several choices, it seems that Barack Hussein Obama inevitably makes the worst one possible. I don't know how you can manage a track record of 100% bad over the course of a year, but he's done it - and it is no small feat. The mainstream media cleans up after Dear Leader as best it can, but it's becoming a pattern that is undeniable.

I don't know if he ever had America's best interests at heart. I know he harbors deep resentment toward the United States because he says so. He apologizes at every turn -- for no good reason.

This latest stupid decision creates a precedent we will be living with for the next hundred years or longer.

Yeah LL-

I was just telling my wife I can't think of one thing he's done that makes sense to me... except maybe the high speed train thing, kinda cool, LOL- I was on one in Germany that did 300kph, passing every Porsche on the Autobahn next to us.

The problem is of course Obama wants to print money to pay for it... just like everything else.

It's all in line with obama and the left's plan to release the terrorists and keep the attacks happening.

This travesty, at least in part, is an indictment by the left on George W. Bush and his policies. Classified information will be come to light, and these terrorists - in accordance with the consitutional rights they've been granted - will be afforded the chance to view this information via discovery. It is a sham of the highest order.
