Romney vs Palin: ANOTHER Fake Conflict from the Alinsky Left

Mitt Romney is a decent guy, a gentleman with character and class- particularly when compared to what we’re stuck with in the White House now. He said nothing offensive whatsoever against Palin, there was no "swipe" when he made a mild joke that implied she's attractive (which of course she is)- and IMO it is ridiculous to scrape for some sort of wrongdoing here.  This only benefits Team Obama and the Democratic Party... so it's easy to see that stoking the flames of this non-event is just more manipulation from the Obama sycophants of the MSM. They then will tell you that the GOP is at war with itself,  the leadership has disregarded Palin... and that Romney is an underhanded, fratricidal operator.

The current abhorrent situation in Washington calls for GOP party unity… rather than foolishly playing into the Machiavellian Emanuel and Obama’s hands by engaging in unecessary and self-destructive  primary battles two years early.  There is no benefit whatsoever to the Republican Party in that- especially as the country is being dragged into the abyss by the Democrats.

Team Obama and the DNC have been employing despicable Alinsky-esque divide-and-conquer/character assassination techniques for months now… manufacturing synthetic “fights” like Rush vs. Steele, plus ceaseless ridicule of Jindal, Palin, even shameful distortion of the legacy of Ronald Reagan. Clearly, the strategy is to eliminate GOP rallying points and philosophical framework for 2010/12 and create the image of a party in disarray.

And what’s been done to Palin and her family by the MSM is beyond-the-pale. But the left is so self-righteous -ala USSR- that they feel any means justify the ends… even editing interviews disingenuously, digging through her closet, or and attacking her children in the national media.

If Governor Palin’s so silly and irrelevant, why the obsession?

The fact is that Palin has been highly successful in life while ignoring the left-wing feminist model… this helps to explain the extra dose of venom in the attacks. She turns their nonsensical liberal world-view on it’s head... and with a smile.  Trouble for them is, if more people were like Palin, the Dems would have no reason for existing- and her success humiliates them.

The DNC is terrified of Palin coming-back at them in 2012 with a dynamic and complementary VP like Bobby Jindal… or visa versa.  And they have plenty of reason to fear her-
Palin is the most popular governor in the country; her 60+% approval rating exceeds that of the MSM-pumped Obama… are all those people up there idiots?
Alaska was a pretty corrupt system until she stepped in. Her reforms took on entrenched politicians (inc. Republicans), a mafioso-style union boss, and Big Oil.
Wouldn’t it have been nice if Obama had been principled and brave enough to confront the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine?
Shady political operators like Tony Rezko?
Racist preachers?
Instead of doing business with every last one of them?
Go get em, Sarah and Mitt- we have a lot more in common that what divides us in the GOP- and I think we are all in agreement that either of these individuals would be a big improvement over the Bolshevik charlatan we've got now.  And don’t mind the press, nobody will be listening to them anymore after the pending Obamamania implosion... which is coming sooner than you think.

Shameless Opportunist Obama Mangles Jack Kemp's Legacy

President Obama said in a statement regarding the passing of Jack Kemp that he remembers the NFL quarterback-turned-politician as someone who held strong beliefs and who learned valuable lessons on the football field.  Obama went-on to say, incredibly, that Kemp "understood that divisions involving race and class stood in the way of the country's common goals".

I don't know about you, but I sure don't recall Jack Kemp talking much about these things very often- nor framing his views in racial terms as Obama so often does.  Kemp was among the most ambitious promoters of free-market capitalism and trickle-down economic theory in the 80s,  along with Ronald Reagan and Art Laffer... and he was interested in introducing such ideas to those who some other conservatives wouldn't bother trying to convince... such as urban poor.  Kemp felt that an opportunity society was best for all, including in the inner-city where voters were used by politicians and had their hope and ambition squelched by the addictive dependency spawned by welfare provisions of liberal Great Society programs introduced in the 60s.

Kemp's reaching out to the urban poor was to introduce his conservative-opportunity agenda to a new audience... and nothing like Obama's entitlement-based race-baiting.  But that didn't stop the President from twisting facts to make it appear that this true conservative was far more "reasonable" and moderate than today's "right wing" GOP.   Pure propaganda to divide Republicans... and built on a complete distortion of what Kemp stood for.  Is there any circumstance where this President would find it inappropriate to play the race card?   After this spectacle, it's hard to imagine one... nor any event that doesn't somehow relate to how Barack is here to save us all.  Johnny Cochran would be proud of him though, no doubt (must have watched the trial).  But for the rest of us to have to listen to such calculating and divisive  drivel at a moment like this- it's appalling.

Jack Kemp was a sincere and truthful genuine patriot who stood for proven, pragmatic economic solutions and an opportunity society based on personal freedom and initiative.  The truth is that Kemp's values and beliefs had precious little in common with the far-left agenda Obama's trying to foist upon us today.  And when you break all your promises, lie habitually, refuse to answer legitimate questions, and flip-flop like a beached flounder... who gave you the right to comment or interpret Jack Kemp's legacy, Mr President... and in a way that conveniently serves your own political purposes?

Of course, Obama left out most of what else Jack Kemp stood for, too... like that liberal economic policies of taxing and spending stand in the way of the nation's prosperity. And perhaps the President noticed that Kemp, like most Republicans, looked at Americans as Americans--- and not members of a racial or class group to be exploited for political gain by pitting them against each other.

Anyone who's ever heard him speak can tell you that the centerpiece of Kemp's platform was a flat income tax... a far cry from Obama's soak-the-rich tax hikes and redistributionist/anti-free-market/big government blitzkreig.  Jack Kemp was a supply-side economics advocate, and unabashed capitalist... period.  Of course, Obama didn't mention any of this... his own manufactured reality (that he wishes to download into your noggin) is far more useful to him than the truth... per usual.

Obama could care less about Jack Kemp's legacy... actually, he despises every policy that was dear to him.  The serial-opportunist Obama should be ashamed of himself for twisting Kemp's words... but of course, he's not.  Narcissists are often callous... even ruthless.  He'll sleep fine, as he likely thinks this kind of stuff is real clever and slick... maybe even share a chuckle or two over it with head partisan-weasel Emanuel.

Kemp was a great man and a proud American who respected and clearly loved what made this country the most successful in history... not a vengeful Marxist out to turn it all upside-down while presenting himself as a some sort of savior from America's "mistakes of the past".

Based on his record and words, Kemp would have been strongly opposed to almost the entire Obama agenda- the spending, centralization of power, race/class rabble rousing, and statist-socialist fantasy world he'd like to bring to us all.  Obama has no business twisting Kemp's memory to hector the GOP and legitimize his strange, angry, race-based "issues"... but he did it anyway.

Shame on you, Barack Obama-

And God Bless You, Jack- we're going to miss the real you.

Biden is a Dangerous Fool

Although he may have taken Biden aboard as VP in some deal with the DNC, it appears that the opportunistic Obama at least initially had no problem with it- insecure narcissists like and need to be surrounded by fake suck-ups.  The ever-calculating Obama also likely sensed that such an appointment increased his job security... since the nation would cringe at the surreal thought of a gaffe-prone and confused President Joe replacing him.

He was presented to us last year as a seasoned asset for a future Obama Administration, yet the sad fact is that Biden has been consistently on the wrong side of history over the last 30 years... so his DNC-vaunted foreign policy “experience” has little value… this partisan hack doesn’t appear to have learned a thing.

Like Obama, he vehemently opposed the highly-successful Iraq Surge strategy- instead, Biden favored what amounted to surrender, and came-up with a harebrained proposal to split the country 3-ways.  In 2006 he was still calling the Surge "a tragic mistake".  What is clear is that if the Obama Administration were in-charge 4 years ago, Iraq today would be an Al Qaida Caliphate that makes 2001 Kabul look like Disneyland.
In the 1980s, alleged foreign-policy expert Biden opposed every element of Reagan’s defense buildup that peacefully toppled the USSR as “dangerous”- in particular, the vital Pershing II missles to match the Soviets' in Europe.  The Delaware Senator later voted against the first Gulf War in 1991, which would have allowed Saddam to keep Kuwait and control a large chunk of the world’s oil supplies.

In the 1987 presidential primaries, he not only had plagiarized British Labour leader Neil Kinnock’s speeches wholesale… but actually adopted his entire life story(!), falsely claiming to have been the “first in his family to go to college” and a “coal-miner’s son”.  Back in reality, Biden’s father was a car salesman (no surprise there, Biden looks like the sales manager at a Buick dealer).

And when it comes to gaffes, Biden says incredible things that Sarah Palin would have surely been pilloried mercilessly for... while Joe gets yet another mulligan from the O-bots of the MSM. Typical was how the Biden schooled us all in the presidential campaign last fall regarding how FDR came on television in 1929 to discuss the Depression, as he suggested President Bush should have done-  But unfortunately, 1929 was a year in which there was no President Roosevelt... no Depression... and no television.

At the height of uncertainty regarding the unfolding financial crisis earlier this year -when the nation was yearning for a confident voice from this new administration- Biden said on camera that the economy was "in danger of really tanking".   Was Obama using him to stir panic in order to pass his reckless stimulus spending package?  Then when met with an uproar, it's "oh, that's just Joe" again?  I wouldn't put it past him-

Inexplicably, Biden is allowed racist slurs, too-  like when he called Obama in the early primaries the first "clean" black politician who "speaks well" to run for president... before he went-on to state that Obama was unqualified.  Biden also said something about not being able to go into a 7-11 convenience store "without an Indian accent"..... and like his boss, Biden finds it appropriate to mock the disabled in public for a few chuckles.

He delivered a nonsensical tirade on Dick Cheney's alleged abuse of power and violation of The Constitution while betraying a shocking, comprehensive ignorance of the Articles himself.  This supposed foreign-policy guru has claimed that we  "kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon" somehow- which of course never happened. And he warned us a few months back that the new president would be "tested" by foreign adversaries, and that we should "gird our loins" for the Obama presidency... huh?.

Some of Biden's most grevious howlers were compiled (below) by the McCain campaign last year.  While Biden's oafishness is often a convenient excuse for this administration, many of these statements appear to be calculated, politically useful prevarication- as it's hard to believe he's actually this ignorant and/or loose with the facts:

1. TAX VOTE:
Biden said McCain voted “the exact same way” as Obama to increase taxes on Americans earning just $42,000, but McCain DID NOT VOTE THAT WAY.
2. AHMEDINIJAD MEETING:
Joe Biden lied when he said that Barack Obama never said that he would sit down unconditionally with Mahmoud Ahmedinijad of Iran. Barack Obama did say specifically, and Joe Biden attacked him for it.
3. OFFSHORE OIL DRILLING:
Biden said, “Drill we must.” But Biden has opposed offshore drilling and even compared offshore drilling to “raping” the Outer Continental Shelf.”
4. TROOP FUNDING:
Joe Biden lied when he indicated that John McCain and Barack Obama voted the same way against funding the troops in the field. John McCain opposed a bill that included a timeline, that the President of the United States had already said he would veto regardless of it’s passage.
5. OPPOSING CLEAN COAL:
Biden says he’s always been for clean coal, but he just told a voter that he is against clean coal and any new coal plants in America and has a record of voting against clean coal and coal in the U.S. Senate.
6. ALERNATIVE ENERGY VOTES:
According to FactCheck.org, Biden is exaggerating and overstating John McCain’s record voting for alternative energy when he says he voted against it 23 times.
7. HEALTH INSURANCE:
Biden falsely said McCain will raise taxes on people’s health insurance coverage — they get a tax credit to offset any tax hike. Independent fact checkers have confirmed this attack is false
8. OIL TAXES:
Biden falsely said Palin supported a windfall profits tax in Alaska — she reformed the state tax and revenue system, it’s not a windfall profits tax.
9. AFGHANISTAN / GEN. MCKIERNAN COMMENTS:
Biden said that top military commander in Iraq said the principles of the surge could not be applied to Afghanistan, but the commander of NATO’s International Security Assistance Force Gen. David D. McKiernan said that there were principles of the surge strategy, including working with tribes, that could be applied in Afghanistan.
10. REGULATION:
Biden falsely said McCain weakened regulation — he actually called for more regulation on Fannie and Freddie.
11. IRAQ:
When Joe Biden lied when he said that John McCain was “dead wrong on Iraq”, because Joe Biden shared the same vote to authorize the war and differed on the surge strategy where they John McCain has been proven right.
12. TAX INCREASES:
Biden said Americans earning less than $250,000 wouldn’t see higher taxes, but the Obama-Biden tax plan would raise taxes on individuals making $200,000 or more.
13. BAILOUT:
Biden said the economic rescue legislation matches the four principles that Obama laid out, but in reality it doesn’t meet two of the four principles that Obama outlined on Sept. 19, which were that it include an emergency economic stimulus package, and that it be part of “part of a globally coordinated effort with our partners in the G-20.”
14. REAGAN TAX RATES:
Biden is wrong in saying that under Obama, Americans won’t pay any more in taxes then they did under Reagan.

Joey Plugs is a reckless clown who often says things that betray a major disconnect with reality– and it's not easy to shut him up.  Truly this was a ridiculous choice for Vice-President of the United States, where a few loose words can start wars or crash markets- but like most of Obama's picks, was made for the opportunist's own political security, above all.  As with the appointments of potential 2012 rivals Hillary and Bill Richardson -or obedient partisan toadies like Napolitano- the nation's interests don't weigh very heavy in this president's descision-making process, to say the least.  And Biden was no exception.

Now that we're all stuck with him for awhile, best chain this national embarrassment to a teleprompter every time he heads out the door- before he causes us some real trouble.
