The tactics of the president's rabble-rousing mentor Saul Alinsky call for deception and deflection- how many times has Barack Obama said one thing but done another? Alinsky's techniques were also employed in the disinformation campaign against Rush Limbaugh et. al.
And Obama seems to think that everybody's as stupid as the people who voted for him. When not lying blatantly, he makes the loosest, most general statements possible- then implies deliberate falsehoods, i.e. that George W Bush is responsible for all the current rampant spending and quadrupling of the budget deficit because it started under him.
