Is it DEAD Yet?

Well, no- it's not... and this political Twilight-Zone-episode-from-hell just keeps getting stranger by the minute. Encouragingly, the anti-democratic Democrats attempting to nationalize one-sixth of our economy don't yet have the votes... even if some still think it's  inevitable.

Regardless, the Wall Street Journal makes a pretty solid case that the dubious parliamentary maneuvers currently being attempted are completely unconstitutional... as would be -imo- a personal mandate to buy health insurance. Expect anything to come of this legislative CF to be tied up the courts for years... or at least until massive new GOP majorities come to repeal it.

Maggie's Notebook has The Great One Mark Levin vowing to take the Dems to court if they attempt to ram this through via the just-as-unconstitutional Slaughter Rule -here-

As for what they've done to tart-up the bill for fence sitters, American Power asks: How do you make a legislative monstrosity better? Apparently by making it worse... -here-

The Other McCain has a clip of Rep Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) giving it to them with both barrels yesterday -here-

Riehl World View asks if Michelle Bachman is advocating civil disobedience in response to ObamaCare... kinda sounds like it in this video -here-

Bungalow Bill just found-out Pelosi's now talking of passing the bill without even voting on it... huh? This politically-deranged hag is completely out-of-control -here-

Government Mess has fiery and inspiring oratory at the Indianapolis TEA party ObamaCare protest -here-

Gateway Pundit caught Mitch Stupak saying Democrats are scheming to use ObamaCare to change wider abortion laws -here-

The Lonely Conservative has dizzy, starry-eyed Obots dropping at his rallies still- and the funny part is Dear Leader's reaction -here-

The Conservative Pup sees this as the last days of the Democratic party... sure seems like it -here-

Adrienne's Corner has the Archbishop of Denver coming out strongly against ObamaCare in any form -here- ... this from a guy who knows evil when he sees it...

Thanks so much, RR! I'm listening to Clyburn saying 'deeming' is not trickery at all. These people are determined.

This is probably the showdown this country needs.

Good morning James! And thanks for the link, I appreciate that. You know, I agree with Maggie, above, in thinking that this showdown and all the goings-on of the past year, extreme and worrisome as it has been and is, has been necessary to wake up the American people.

The times, they are interesting indeed, and I think the Dems are damaging themselves for decades to come.

Thanks again, have a great week!

I sure agree with all of that- just never thought I'd live to see such a shameless power grab in the US- it's astonishing and really quite disturbing.

November can't come fast enough...

Thanks for the link.

I was blissfully busy at work this morning and had some hours of not thinking about these horrid statists and what they're trying to do to us.

The bottom illustration sums it up brilliantly. The only characters missing are puppet masters Pelosi and Reid.
