At approximately midnight EDT this morning, and just following a late working meeting with French President Sarkozy, Barack Obama -saying he's "had enough"- made statement of resignation to a dumbfounded press room hastily-assembled at the White House. Totally unexpected, it was obvious is that nobody -even most of the WH staff and top congressional leaders- saw this one coming.
The President -flanked by the First Lady and his daughters- appeared tired, stressed, nervous -and a bit dazed himself- but resolute in his determination to throw-in-the-towel on a misguided and incompetent administration that even he now realizes has done far, far more harm than good...
April Fool -ha, you wish
Now go get ready for work, serfs...

It was too good to be true.
I have to admit that I did click on the video, I thought there was going to be spoof on an Obama resignation. You got me!
You beat me to this story. I guess that's the advantage of being an expat.
I had in the can for a week, ha
Damn that April fools thing! You got me good James...lol, NOT! I had a glimmer of 'hope and change' until I saw the date on the set up Video. Very funny mister, keep up the great work.
Well, it helps if the April Fool's joke is believable! We know Obama would never quit because his ego wouldn't allow it!
Besides, who wants Biden??!!! OUCH!
You, sir, are a dastardly fellow and I have let the whole VRWC know what you did...

I always thought Biden was just life insurance... if not impeachment repellant,
And I DO feel very bad for having done this, Bob- I'm swearing off April Fools' jokes for the rest of the year
Nah, i wouldn't have fallen for that even if it were in a national paper. Never met a leftist who leaves willingly.
Well, RR, that's something...I guess. John McCain says I should take you at your word and consider it a victory...well...okay.
lololol
