Dutch Airport Closures May 17

Ash clouds from the Iceland volcano have forced the closure of Schiphol Amsterdam and Rotterdam airport from 6:00 am (0400 GMT) to 2:00 pm Monday, the Dutch aviation officials have announced at the Schiphol Airport website... Dutch airport closures and updates available -here-

Dutch Airport Closures May 17
Holland has joined the club with German airports and UK airports closing-down due to the volcanic plume eminating from Iceland's Eyjafjallaj√∂kull  volcano.

Dutch airports were of course closed along with much of European airspace in April following the eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjoell volcano for almost a week, the largest shutdown of the continent's airspace in half a century...
