Europe’s disappointment with Barack Obama’s presidency is laid bare today as the EU’s most senior figure calls for a dramatic effort to revive transatlantic relations.
The President of the European Commission told The Times that the new era at the White House was in danger of becoming a “missed opportunity” for Europe.
José Manuel Barroso said that the EU-US relationship was not living up to its potential. The criticism follows a series of fundamental disagreements on how to deal with the economic crisis, climate change and trade reform...

I pretty much never get tired of saying "Neener-neener! We told you this would happen!" to disappointed libs.
Pretty soon there won't be any citizens left in the USA. With all of Obama's preposterous policies and statements, heads are exploding at an exponentially increasing rate.

It's shows you what a total anti-social nut this Obama is... he can't even get along with people with an almost identical agenda!
But the Europeans are too rich and successful... Barry only admires losers, pretty much
wait...meaning what...he is not going far enough/fast enough...or they think he is off his rocker too...there are two ways to interpret that.
It is actually a flaw in the chosen ones armor.
Remember when he was running against Hillary the criticism of Obama was that he was like a big canvas and YOU were the artist.....
Pick up the brush and you could make Obama BE ANYTHING YOU WANTED HIM TO BE.
And so....
As he continues to disappoint, many a group are finding that he is not moving fast enough but more to the point.....
They are finding that the brush they painted Obama with was not the same brush a billion other people painted him with.
In the end.
Obama is just another failed politician who set the bar so high that he could never achieve the greatness that was expected of him.
A funny thing about Obama is that I married my wife about the time Jimmy Carter was elected president. Me and my mother in law had a good natured feud going over Jimmy Carter.
To make a long story short I finally after about 2 years got her to admit that Jimmy Carter SUCKED as president. It was rather rewarding but at the same time the country was in deep financial straights so it was a hollow victory.
It won't be long now till the Libs will start admitting that Obama sucks.
So, he's thrown them under the bus too. It must be getting crowded under there.
Yeah, the wheels are coming off now...
And Lee, imho a lot of Dems will turn on Obama much quicker than your Carter example- this November's drubbing will turn the Dems upside down, and a lot of them will be putting the blame on The One's doorstep... right where it belongs.
By 2012, many people will be lying to their children about who they voted for "back in 08"... and most will wince at the very mention of the name "Obama"
I thought the progressives wanted us to be more like Europe?
