What Patton Would Have Said about Dealing with Muslim Extremist Terrorism . . .

"Nobody ever defended anything successfully...
there is only attack and attack and attack some more"

ATTEN-SHUN!

To any and all whining, panty-waist US citizens, it's time for a little refresher course on exactly why we Americans occasionally have to fight wars to keep this nation great...

See if you can tear yourself away from your "reality" TV and Starbucks for a minute, pull your head out of your %$&# ... and for chissake LISTEN UP!

Abu Ghraib was not an "atrocity." Got that?

THIS is an atrocity!

So was THIS!!!

Radical Islamists are inherently peaceful people? My %$&# !

Millions of these warped, misled SOBs are plotting -as we speak- to destroy our country and our way of life any way they can...

Some of them are here among us now. They don't want to convert you and don't want to rule you. They believe you are a vile infestation of Allah's paradise. They don't give a %$&# how "progressive" you are, how peace-loving you are, or how much you sympathize with their cause...

They want your %$&# DEAD... and they think it is God's will for them to do it.

Some think if we give them a hug or listen to them, then they'll like us, and if you agree... then you are a pathetic dumb%$&#!!!

If they manage to get their hands on a nuke, chemical agents, or even some anthrax... you will wish to God we had hunted them down and killed THEM while we had the chance!

How many more Americans must be beheaded or blown-up?

You've fallen asleep AGAIN...get your head out of your %$&#!

You may never get another chance! Now pass this on to any and every person you give a damn about... if you ever gave a damn about anything!

DIS-MISSED!

Now, some choice (actual) quotes from Old Blood-and-Guts...
read-up Barry, you pompous yutz:
All glory is fleeting

Always do everything you ask of those you command

If everyone is thinking alike, then somebody isn't thinking

Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle.

Moral courage is the most valuable and usually the most absent characteristic in men

Watch what people are cynical about, and one can often discover what they lack.

Americans play to win at all times. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed...

The test of success is not what you do when you are on top. Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.

Wars may be fought with weapons, but they are won by men. It is the spirit of men who follow and of the man who leads that gains the victory.

Success demands a high level of logistical and organizational competence

There is only one tactical principle which is not subject to change. It is to use the means at hand to inflict the maximum amount of wound, death, and destruction on the enemy in the minimum amount of time

Perpetual peace is a futile dream

You must do your damdest... and win

Wouldn't it be nice to have a man like General Patton around today!?

Thought of you when I was writing this one, Steve... but General Petraeus is pretty close, albeit with a more subtle style.

History will treat him very, very well

I like Petraus but he is no Patton nor MacArther either. That aside what you state and the Patton quotes are all right on target.

I have the deepest respect for the courage and wisdom of the Petraeus-Bush-McCain axis that got The Surge implement in Iraq... and won the war.

A defeat there might have done as much damage to our prestige and security as if we'd had been beaten in the Battle of the Bulge... I'm serious. We still would have beaten the Germans in 45-46... but over half this country were ready to give up Iraq just a few short years ago... what a catastrophe that would have been.

If we had listened to Obama/Reid/Pelosi/Biden in 2006, Iraq would be an Al Qaida caliphate by now! And these men won us that war while so many cowards and fools resisted that path to victory.

And Petraeus did it with little public support...

Patton knew what a victory was, so does Petraeus, the difference is the commander in chief petraeus works under. Obama (although he claims different)is a Muslim, and if he isn't, he sure is a sympathizer......

Exactly... oh to be a bug on the wall in those staff meetings.

It'll all come out someday, Starting today with Woodward's book...

I have been saying for years the big wave of terrorism is going to come from first and second generation Muslims in this country, Patton would of seen it too. It has already started. Islam is incompatible with American democracy and our way of life and people need to realize it.

It's a totalitarian philosophy that seeks to control ALL aspects of life... how anybody thinks that can dovetail with Freedom and Liberty is beyond me, Good Ole
