I read today that you have ordered your cabinet to cut a whopping $100 million from the $3.5 trillion federal budget!
I'm so impressed by this sacrifice that I have decided to do the same thing with my personal budget...
I spend about $2000 a month on groceries, medicine, bills, etc, but it's time to get out the budget cutting axe, go line by line through my expenses... and go to work.
And you've truly inspired me: I'm going to cut my spending by the SAME ratio as your proposed cuts... that is, -1/35,000 of my total budget... or 0.00285%
After doing the math, it looks like instead of spending $2000 a month, I'm going to have to scrape-by on a mere $1999.94 now...
That's right... I had to cut back by a whole six cents... but that's what sacrifice is all about.

That was cut from the budget of his cabinet, not as a % from the total US budget. Try again, but it appears that neither honesty or math are strong suits for you.
Now have the republican congressional budgets cut the same % and each and every other department. Now you see what was done, was to set a department by department office by office example.

This "example" you cite does not even equate to the smallest of paper cuts that does not even break the skin.
A real example of the way to cut and a great start would be the elimination of the ENTIRE Dept. of Education. Now, considering the amount we have to and must cut this is still a small cut but again a great start.
