With Gov Sarah Palin set to deliver the keynote speech at the much-anticipated Reagan 100 celebration at the Reagan Ranch Center in Santa Barbara, CA, there is much interest in the theme chosen for the event: A Time for Choosing, the pro-Goldwater oratory that launched Ronald Reagan's political career on the 1964 TV program Rendevzous with Destiny... and raised $8M in the waning days of Barry Goldwater's campaign.

Yeah, he LOVES Ronald Reagan... that's why he mocked the Gipper's 92-year-old widow his first day in office... please.

After failing to destroy the Reagan legacy -as a rallying point for conservatives- with disinformation, historical revision, and what have you over the last two years, the old-guard liberal propaganda organs have switched tack and mounted a shameful coordinated effort to co-opt the Reagan legacy, basically just stealing from the groundswell of pro-Reagan sentiment his 100th birthday is sure to generate... and all to prop up this arrogant, incompetent radical they stuffed into the White House. 

Back in reality, Reagan was a Constitutional, small government conservative and military hawk... liberal pacifist and pro-Islamist Barack Obama couldn't be more opposite on policy if he tried.

Results, you say? Reagan created 20M jobs, won the Cold War without firing a shot, and gave this country eight of the best years it's ever had... now just an ancient memory in the grimmest depths of the Obammunist era, one which so closely resembles the daunting mess Jimmy Carter handed Reagan when he entered the Oval Office in 1981.

Recent violence in Egypt makes it appear to be a situation spiraling out of control, with six protesters already been killed in clashes with security forces and over a thousand arrested. 

And today is to be the big day: major protests coordinated on social networking sites such as Twitter are planned for Friday, although the government has already shut down the entire internet in the country and deployed elite forces. If they do manage to stage more aggressive protests today, expect a real harsh crackdown.

But the media narrative in the west of how these are people seeking freedom, justice, and better living conditions is only partially true: the unrest is driven and coordinated by the oldest Islamist political organization on the planet, the Muslim Brotherhood... a radical, jihadist group that would quickly dispose any real democracy and consolidate power.

Sarah Palin has been chosen to speak by the Young America Foundation on what would have been Ronald Reagan's 100th birthday...

“I am very excited to have been selected to address Young America’s Foundation’s Reagan 100 dinner,” Governor Palin said.  “Young America’s Foundation has been sharing the values of President Reagan with young people for more than 40 years, and there is no organization more committed to preserving freedom’s future.”

To commemorate the 100^th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s birth, Governor Palin will reflect on the seminal speech by President Reagan, “Time for Choosing,” that discussed the risks and rewards before an America at a crossroads in the early 1960’s. Governor Palin will draw parallels to today while calling for young people to continue the Reagan revolution into the future.

Vice President Dick Cheney will also headline the celebration weekend and deliver the keynote address at the closing Reagan 100 Dinner Banquet on Saturday, February 5 at the Reagan Ranch Center.

Neil Abercrombie had pledged to put the issue to bed for good... but has instead popped-open hornet's nest. So who is this odd duck, anyway?

Oczam's razor theory dictates that if they can't find it... there must not be one. This would also provide the most viable explanation for why Obama has spent almost $2M fighting the claims in court. And to since it's a principle requirement for presidential eligibility... would someone please tell me WHY the burden of proof is on us?
