How many times he has turned his back on conservatism. Why does he serve on the board of bailed out GE’s Healthymagination with Tom Daschle, a company posed to make billions from Obamacare? Why does he sit on a couch with Nancy Pelosi and push cap and trade taxes and global warming? Why did Newt push big government solutions and take money from Fannie Mae to look the other way as the housing bubble prepared to destroy our economy? He sounds good alright, but his record speaks a different tune. I know. I know. Can't look at the record. We have to get Obama out of office.
What's 4 balanced budgets, actually paying down a few hundred million of accumulated deficit, major welfare reform, and taking back the Congress for the GOP after 50 yrs of Dem control... chopped liver?
Bill, to me it's a no-brainer choice:
Romney won't repeal ObamaCare, Santorum can't beat Obama in November, and Ron Paul's defense posture is a joke. I can pull the lever for Newt no problem, everything's relative, brother.
Like all elections, least of all evils
But don't be surprised if Newt delivers another Reagan revolution either, I won't be

Doesn't make him less conservative. Makes him now informed. Matter of fact he did say that "THAT was the dumbest thing I had ever done."

You know CAPITALISM!! He did no such thing by telling them to look the other way. He emphatically provided names to those on capital hill who were friendly to the opposition of giving loans to people who could not afford them and advised them that "This is nuts". Now it would be up to executives at Freddie and Fannie to carry that out. All this crab about Newt, cooked up my Romney!
When I first heard theory of global warming I thought it sounded viable, if not inevitable… the idea we’d run out of air to ruin is not all that far fetched
Only once the fraudulent nature of the science and the true agenda of the Left in all this (taxation, control of private enterprise) became apparent did I realize it was indeed a fraud… for me that was 2008
I trust Mr Gingrich has taken a similar journey to the truth, you sure don’t hear him talking about it anymore
