North Korean TV's Chris Matthews Now Says He Was "Smart" Not to Run for Senate (lol)

Just when you thought this wretched shill
couldn't insult your intelligence any more...

Spinning the sad historical reality of his stillborn Senate run in Pennsylvania, MSNBC's Comrade Chris actually asked guests on the intellectually-decrepit Hardball show Monday (yeah, it's still on) if "guys like me and Beau Biden" were "smart not to run this year"... while dismissing the Obama-fueled explosion of issue-specific anti-incumbent sentiment as "very emotional" (= simplistic serfs who can't grasp the complexities of what we're trying to do for/to them)

Matthews was 'smart' not to run... because he knew the rest of us are stupid ingrates

Meanwhile -back in reality- the fortuitous decision to not quit his cush MSNBC day job to run in the Democratic primary against Arlen Specter had little or nothing to do with any wisdom, foresight, or judgement on Matthews' part... rather, polling numbers at the time -unsurprisingly similar to his feeble Nielsons- suggested that he would be trounced.

Chris Matthews is an unprofessional and inherently dishonest liberal hack known for myriad on-air meltdowns, gushing over President Obama using superlatives such as "pluperfect", wincing in pain at the thought of a Republican Senate... not to mention referring to West Point as "an enemy camp" filled with "rabble".

But he's also developed a reputation for bizarre-yet-indicative spews that do lay bare just how detached from reality he and his far-Left ilk are. In today's featured example, instead of just being an unwanted and unloved wannabe-politician, Tingles is now smart and clairvoyant, too... whatever

Previous MSNBC owners General Electric wisely decided to get out of the propaganda business, dumping the failing MSNBC on Comcast in December '09.  And they got $30B for it, not bad considering the anemic ratings... you could probably reach more people yelling out the window.

But once they'd soaked the Obama-Pelosi-Reid triumvirate for all they were able in stimulus contracts and Russian business connections, coolly-calculating  and opportunistic GE likely never had any intention of reviving the network's spent credibility/audience- they got their use out of it, and like a car with 100,000 mi on the clock... time to make it somebody else's worry.

Why new management hasn't rolled the chronically under-performing 'progressive' MSNBC news team to the curb yet is beyond me- maybe Intrade ought to get some action going on whether any of these mindless drones like Matthews, Olbermann, or Maddow will remain employed in the wake of the Left's electoral pounding on November 2nd... common sense would suggest they will not.

Now back to Chris with the latest...
