The former Polish president will be the keynote speaker Friday at a Chicago luncheon fundraiser for Adam Andrzejewski, one of four Republican candidates for governor in Illinois.
I myself have spent a bit of time in Poland, where many people couldn't wait to tell me how much they adored Ronald Reagan. These are folks who remember what he and the United States of America did for them... and are grateful for it. This explains their loyalty at the most difficult time in Iraq... a sense of duty perhaps lost now as Barack Obama cowers from the Russians and sells the Polish people down the river...
