Actually I stand corrected...Samsung is South Korean I was thinking of Sanyo which is now owned by Panasonic....both of whom are Japanese.
Additionally be careful in your flat screen television buying habits....the Chinese are starting to flood the market with CHEAP flat screens which is what has brought the prices down drastically on Flat Screen TV's.

Top selling smart phone manufacturer is HTC.
HTC is owned by the CHINESE.
Apple is owned by An American Corporation.
Samsung is owned by the Japanese Corporation.
Motorola is an American Corporation.
FYI....If you really like supporting the Chinese then buy HTC.....or you can buy samsung or Apple and support Pro American Interests.
