A phenomenon known as a 'roll cloud' -a relatiely rare form of
Arcus cloud- was seen in eastern Texas early this morning..
It's formed when a cool outflow of air from a substantial thunderstorm jets-out ahead of the system in a rotating rope that can run 50 miles long...

Those things are a awesome phenomena. Seen them once, in my lifetime, that pronounced.
Never even heard of such of a thing until today... and in Ohio where I grew up there were a LOT of T-storms rolling in off the lake
