If there's one thing a narcissist can't take, it's rejection...
In the wake of Obama's unsettling, constitutionally-illegal power grab,
Senator Ted Cruz (R- Texas) told Meagan Kelly that Dear Leader knows we rejected his policies on November 4th (specifically long-threatened immigration diktats from the WH, as we are already now saddled with)-
yet instead of attempting to deliver some semblance of what most normal people want, the guy Mark Levin dubbed 'The Imperial President' has given us the finger like he's never done before (and that's sayin' something)-
In fact, Obama's narcissistic tantrum yesterday amounts to anger with us counter-revolutionaries for not acquiescing his ongoing, 6-year-long date rape of this country... ANGER, blatant electoral scheming, and sinister revenge upon the ungrateful plebes- it's that simple.
And regardless of where one falls on the immigration/amnesty issue, the fact is that this Executive Order is illegal, and Congress is being tested... if they fail to defend their power and cede this to the president, it opens the door wide for dictatorship. It is incumbent upon them to defend the constitutional checks and balances provided by the Founding Fathers for the people's protection/recourse in precisely this sort of predicament.
Cruz also noted the Obama's regime's spin of their crushing defeat in the midterms is apparently that Americans want Congress to lay at his feet. The Texas Senator added that if they actually believe this 'they've been traveling to one of those states that recently legalized marijuana... and have been smoking some'.
But Sen Cruz has got a plenty serious strategy for resisting this tyranny, one that has always served America well when facing daunting challenges in the past- FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT:
- Mitch McConnell should stand up and say 'if you disregard the constitution, if you disregard the law, if you issue this executive amnesty, the new Congress for the next two years will not confirm a single nomination, judicial or executive, other than vital national security positions until you end this illegal amnesty.'
- We need to use the power of the purse, and the most potent power congress has... systematically pass appropriations legislations funding the Department of Defense, funding the VA, funding one department after another after another and then once the vital functions are funded, we need to pass appropriations with writers specifically limiting the power of the Congress and the power of the President to spend money on illegal amnesty.
That, and join Rep Michele Bachmann
on Capitol Hill a week from next Wednesday...
