Dramatic Violence Escalating in Tehran- Next Act of a Democratic Revolution?

Opposition parties had urged people to take to the streets as the Shia Muslim festival of Ashura reached a climax- resulting in today's crowds chanting "Khamenei will be toppled" in a reference to Iran's Supreme Leader.
According to reports in The Gardian (UK), and elderly man among dead, claims reformist website, as security forces clamp down on holy day marches across Iran. The nephew of former presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi was among the dead, the BBC has confirmed.
Once again, in a situation that calls for a principled voice of world leadership, we have the Bolshevik Boy Wonder out on the links ... pathetic. Did this self-absorbed twit learn nothing from Jimmy Carter's misguided accommodation of this vile, apocalyptic regime?
