Ronald Reagan Christmas Address (video)

As delivered to the nation December 23, 1981-
29 years ago this week:

"Like the National Christmas Tree, our nation is a living,
growing thing-
planted in rich American soil.

Only our devoted care can bring it to full flower..."

It's hard to believe that it was so long ago. It was a great address.

On a lighter note, I think this would cause Chrissy Matthews to permanently lose his tingle.

He is such a treasure trove of reminders of who we are. Wonderful to hear a president talk about the trust in God this country has always held to - you know, like clinging to our God and guns. This is a beautiful Christmas address. I wonder what if anything we'll hear from Hawaii this year?
