Obama Energy Goal: Keep Prices at Pump Up

The high prices at the pump are making you angry, and you are playing right into the Obama administration playbook. Your anger, which the Department of Energy plans to do nothing about, in fact they welcome it, "will make research into such alternatives more urgent." That's a quote. Did you get that? As astounding as that statement is, note that Secretary of Energy Chu admits we have nothing, zero, nada to take the place of oil. "Research" is still underway - and in the meantime, as Obama promised, everything connected to oil and gas is higher and climbing. The Secretary of Energy admits the administration is not trying to lower oil and gas prices. What is the Secretary's goal, you ask? "...the overall goal is to decrease our dependency on oil...," at the expense of your quality of life and your wallet. Flashback: immediately after the Obama administration fired up in 2009, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar cancelled 77 leases for oil and gas drilling in Utah. Flashback: Chu is infamous for saying the U.S. should have gas prices as high as Europe ($7-$9 a gallon). America, the high price at the pump is ticked-up as an Obama success. See the video below.
“Somehow,” Chu said, “we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.”
