Rejection Out-of-Hand of ANY Deal Not Coming at
Israeli Expense Exposes the 'Palestinian Cause'
for the Never-Ending Scam it Always Was...

Perhaps Al-Sisi could sweeten the deal by shipping some Jews
to Sinai 1st so they have something to hate/kill when they get there

All you have to do is look at how this story came-out
including the entirely negative Palestinian reaction:
PLO chief and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told an audience of Fatah members that Egypt had offered to give the PA some 1600 km of land in Sinai adjacent to Gaza, thus quintupling the size of the Gaza Strip. Egypt even offered to allow all the so-called “Palestinian refugees” to settle in the expanded Gaza Strip.

Then Abbas told his Fatah followers that he rejected the Egyptian offer.

On Monday Army Radio substantiated Abbas’s claim.

According to Army Radio, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi proposed that the Palestinians establish their state in the expanded Gaza Strip and accept limited autonomy over parts of Judea and Samaria.

In exchange for this state, the Palestinians would give up their demand that Israel shrink into the indefensible 1949 armistice lines, surrendering Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria. Sisi argued that the land Egypt is offering in Sinai would more than compensate for the territory that Abbas would concede.

In his speech to Fatah members, Abbas said, “They [the Egyptians] are prepared to receive all the refugees, [and are saying] ‘Let’s end the refugee story.’” “But,” he insisted, “It’s illogical for the problem to be solved at Egypt’s expense. We won’t have it.”

So it's not what they get, it's who's hide it comes out of. Israel must be made to pay the price (the ultimate one, if possible). Otherwise, he really doesn't want to talk about it.

As has been said many times, 'the Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity'- and this categorical rejection is really quite telling, especially when you consider that Egypt was said to be willing to allow ALL of the Palestinian refugees (in Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan) to come settle on the 618 square miles of new PA land. These hapless souls have long been held by Palestinian 'leadership' -and much of the Arab world- as a bargaining chip, and -alas- so it shall remain.

There are now dubious, conflicting versions of what was actually discussed, as Egyptian government of General Al-Sisi yesterday denied that they had made the offer (as has Abbas, now), saying that the previous Muslim Brotherhood regime in Cairo was the one who put it out there. Alas, Egypt also tabled a quite similar proposal in 1956- with identical result, nothing.

But the point is that Abbas will obviously never consider such an idea. Thus, the Jews must either be driven from the land of Israel, or at minimum pushed inside utterly-indefensible '49 armistice lines (to be finished-off later). This is a man who never sought any kind of practical peace deal with Israel, and
never will- only morons like John Kerry ever believed BS to the contrary.

The reported deal would have doubled their coastline (lovely seaside property and room for a port), and increased the Gaza territory by 400% (!)... do they really expect to get something like that from Israel anytime before the Sun goes supernova?

The Egyptian town of Al-Arish would be a new Egypt-'Palestine' border, and any society who couldn't make a go of it engaging in highly-profitable capitalism with Israel while utilizing it's access to the sea and nearby Suez canal is simply doing it wrong: providing labor outsourcing, ancillary services, or whatever for Israel's booming, high-tech economy could transform Palestinian society quickly, creating a new middle class virtually overnight.

A condition of the proposal was said to be that the new land be demilitarized, but with most Palestinian higher-ups getting rich on graft/tunnels/war, permanent conflict seems to better fit the needs of the PLO's vile ruling class... refugees, economy, free land, political independence, and
common-sense be dammed.

If any new territory for the Palestinians has got to come at Israel's expense, maybe stubborn old fool Abbas should be reminded that all the Sinai was conquered in the Six-Day War of 1968 -held in 1973- and was actually only handed back to Egypt as a gift in the name of peace... they probably could have just colonized it -or at least took the oil- if they wanted to.
