Somebody tell this fool the Russians don’t honor any deals (torn-up/ignored the minute they are perceived to no longer serve Moscow’s immediate interests)— and WHY would you hand them a face-saving win when they’re back on their heels? So they can reconstitute their forces and have another go at it when they shred the 'agreement' a year later?
Kyiv has held plenty of negoiations with the Russians, including Minsk peace deal in 2014, the Budapest Memorandum… and judging by their current ongoing killing spree and reckless nuclear threats, they couldn’t give a damn what they signed.
Ukrainians know better, and have NO interest in rewarding Russian war criminals with territorial (or any other) prizes. Self-absorbed, inexpert Western politicians undermining support for Kyiv like this DO NOT HELP. They sound like Macron, and even he eventually learned to shut up about it.
