Are They Really Going to Make This Guy a Senator?

Al Franken's hyper-liberal Air America radio show was a flop because few wanted to hear his boring anti-American drivel, but that didn't stop the DNC from putting this clown on the ballot for US Senator. And they were all ready to do the same for Chris Tingle Matthews... that is, until polls revealed widespread revulsion at the thought.

Now I don't listen to the show regularly, but it's interesting to note how Team Obama and their MSM allies systematically mocked the idea of mere "entertainer" Rush Limbaugh having significant influence in the GOP -the DNC even ran TV ads to trash him- when he's never even thought about running for office, to the best of my knowledge. Any sway Limbaugh does hold in the Republican party was gained through a successful free-market enterprise... millions of people listen to him because they want to.

So a failed entertainer's OK for Democratic Senator, having never before held political office... but a successful conservative one isn't even allowed to have some influence? -please

They, in this case, are the voters of Minnesota. He **WON THE ELECTION**. If Rush Limbaugh wishes to stand for election he is entitled to do so, and if he wins an election then he can serve in the office for which he was elected. It's called "democracy". An alien concept, it seems.

The irony to me Ben is that the POTUS, his staff, and the DNC spend a lot of money and time to demean the concept of Limbaugh being influential in Republican circles, while that same DNC supported Franken, a failed "comedian" with little more than a lame schtick and a bad attitude.

I can see he won the election... the thing I'm decrying is the Democrats' former attacks on Limbaugh because he was "just an entertainer"

And that's called "HYPOCRISY", Ben

Minnesota loves the freak shows. Just when you thought the news out of Congress couldn't get any worse--it does.

Why not? is he really any different than the whores, clowns, socialists, and Marxists that call themselves Democrats? He fits right in with this cabal and he will get his butt thrown out in 5 1/2
years.

Leftist hypocrisy and envy. Leftists wish they could get the popularity of a Rush Limbaugh.
