IMHO Obama got scared... he thought of the political damage to himself -of course- if Hamas crucified this guy... which of course is LEGAL there, ya know.
That, or he's using Mosab as a chip... I wouldn't put it past him

Congratulations Mosab! I have read your wonderful book and am so glad you are out of that awful place where you saw so much killing. And most of all, I am glad you have become a peace loving Christian.Your story kept me on the edge of my seat, and I do admire your fortitude and your intelligence, and strength of character. I was glad to see you have so many supporters on your web site. All the best wisher for a good and happy life in the good old USA.Glad we didn't let you down. Maybe you can be an asset to our Home Security people who seem quite naive.

I think Mosab's own personal Independence Day begins today. I have a feeling he will be an amazing force in the War on Terror.
Maybe for the next president, he will! This one was ready to send him to his death up until today... good grief.
He had plenty of reason for worry, too- with Team Obama talking to Hamas in not-so "secret" meetings
