GOP Congressman Floors Bill to Kill November Lame Duck Session
With profligate Dems scheming to ram-through Cap-n-Tax, Card Check, and still more spending in the wake of their crushing November defeat... here's the stand-up Republican who aims to put a stop it:
Republican Study Committee Chairman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement after offering a resolution on the floor of the House of Representatives calling on Congress not to hold a lame duck session after midterms- likely to be exploited to pass hugely unpopular legislation like a national energy tax, enormous deficit spending bills, and the kickback to the unions known as Card Check-

mind) has more than a few people scratching their head as they face the dawning realization that this president really doesn't seem very serious

Creating havoc is from page one of the Leftist playbook, of course... and abandoning the helm in the midst of a storm can only help in bringing the next handy little crisis to boil.

The Obamas' latest impolitic, elitist vacation in Bar Harbor, Maine (while he and his charmless, America-hating wife encourage the plebes to go down to Louisiana and surf the oil slick) is to be promptly followed by another one, this time frolicking amongst the doting limousine liberals of Martha's Vineyard. Next month, the first lady and nine-year-old Sasha will meet the king and queen of Spain on yet another vacation.

For much of this week, I was wondering what we would do if our TBF poll ended with a tie. Patricia Sullivan and John Faulk were literally deadlocked almost every time I peeked at the poll results.
Making it even more interesting, Sullivan and Faulk made an intriguing deal. Now I'm looking forward to seeing Mr. Faulk in one of Patricia's tee shirts!
Sullivan and Faulk both worked very hard for your vote, and I want to think both of them for their good-natured rivalry. I wish them both the best of luck in their quest to unseat two of the most vile leftists in Congress.

If Sullivan wins the primary election on August 24, she will go on to face the loathsome Alan Grayson in November.
