Rasmussen now reports that GOPer Scott Brown has pulled to within two points Martha Coakley in the race to fill the vacant seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy... 49%-47% with less than a week to go until the January 19th special election.
Rasmussen also finds Brown enjoying overwhelming support from Republicans and independents- Martha Coakley is supported by 77% of Democrats, while Brown enjoys the support from 88% of Republicans. As far as independents go, Brown leads 71% to 23%.
Turnout will be the key, and Brown’s voters appear to be far more energized.
