With an impressive 117% in early balloting, there's just enough now to seal the election for Senator Harry Reid nearly a week before voting was to take place... victorious in an incredibly tough race vs TEA Party favorite Sharron Angle- who has yet to make a statement.
Reid's son -Vegas County Commissioner Rory Reed- promptly then ordered Election Day canceled as "an unnecessary and wholly redundant waste of taxpayer money."- voting machines are on the way to the county storage facility as we go to press.
Pre-marking ballots has "greatly simplified the voting process" for Nevada's ignorant and ingrateful serfs while "millions of dollars are being saved" in manpower and utilities by naming a winner prior to Election Day, according to Reid: "This is truly a historic day for American democracy".
Furthermore, as part of his "Green Vegas" program, the vote-by-mail ballots have already been shredded into eco-friendly strips, and will disappear "without a trace in the Nevada desert" claimed a beaming Reid.
Hauling services (donated by fervent Reid supporters) are now whisking the remnants off to an "undisclosed location" where they will produce the smallest possible environmental footprint....
