The widely-respected Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll shows that 28% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -13
And Obama's Cap-n-Trade power/tax-grab looks like it'll never pass the Senate now, either... where it's reported to have only 30-35 votes- what happened to that "Super-majority"?
Meanwhile, Forty-seven percent (47%) of U.S. voters say "global warming" is caused by long-term planetary trends rather than human activity.
And in-addition to the fact that the Democrats appear to face blowouts in the NJ and VA governor's races, even seats like Harry Reid's are starting to look a little slippery in early polling. There are indeed few remaining bright-spots for the over-reaching, radical statist, incompetent, and spendthrift Democratic party.
Now the GOP has widened their lead in "generic" Congressional ballot polling to SEVEN POINTS. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 43% would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate while 36% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent. That represents the lowest level of support for Democrats in recent years...
Rasmussen's accuracy over the long run has not deterred the Left from attacking him for delivering these uncomfortable truths- he summarizes:

Fallon, The Roots and special guest Sean "Diddy" Combs complained about the Presidential Approval Index as they "slow jammed" the news.
